Welcome to All n One Dance Company
1. Studio Etiquette
Respect
- Show respect to instructors, staff, fellow dancers, and the studio environment at all times.
- Arrive on time for class and be ready to begin promptly.
- Listen attentively and follow instructions given by the instructor.
- Refrain from talking or disruptive behavior during class.
- Support your fellow dancers, encouraging a collaborative and positive environment.
Cleanliness
- Keep the studio and dressing rooms tidy. Dispose of trash in designated bins.
- No food or drinks (other than water) are allowed in the dance studio.
- Take care of studio property, including mirrors, barres, and sound equipment.
Safety
- Always warm up before class to prevent injury.
- Inform your instructor of any injuries or medical conditions that may affect your participation.
- No running or horseplay in the studio or reception.
2. Absences
- Attendance is crucial for progress. Please make every effort to attend all scheduled classes.
- If a dancer must miss a class, please notify the studio as soon as possible.
- Excessive absences may affect a dancer's ability to participate in performances or move up to the next level.
3. Uniform and Modesty Policy
Uniform Requirements
- Dancers are expected to wear the designated uniform for their specific class. Details on required attire can be found in the class descriptions.
- Hair should be neatly tied back and out of the face. Ballet students must wear a bun.
Modesty Policy
- All dancewear should be modest and appropriate. This includes leotards, tights, and cover-ups.
- Midriffs should be covered, and shorts should be of an appropriate length.
- No jewelry, except for small earrings, should be worn during class for safety reasons.
4. Conduct
- All dancers are expected to conduct themselves with integrity, respect, and professionalism.
- Bullying, gossip, or any form of negative behavior will not be tolerated and may result in disciplinary action, including dismissal from the studio.
- Dancers should strive to maintain a positive attitude, both in and out of the studio.
5. Cyberbullying and Social Media Guidelines
Cyberbullying
- Cyberbullying is strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated. This includes negative or harmful comments made online, through social media, or via any other digital platform.
- Any reports of cyberbullying will be taken seriously and may result in immediate action, including suspension or dismissal from the studio.
Social Media Guidelines
- Dancers and parents are encouraged to promote All n One Dance Company positively on social media.
- Avoid posting any negative or inappropriate content related to the studio, instructors, or fellow dancers.
- Respect the privacy of others by not sharing photos or videos of other dancers without their consent.
- Use social media responsibly, remembering that you represent the All n One Dance Company community.
6. Communication
- Open communication between the studio, dancers, and parents is essential. Please ensure that your contact information is up to date.
- Studio updates, schedule changes, and important announcements will be communicated via email and posted on our website.
7. Performances and Competitions
- Participation in performances and competitions is an exciting part of the dance experience at All n One Dance Company.
- Dancers are expected to attend all scheduled rehearsals and performances.
- Professionalism, punctuality, and respect for all participants are mandatory during these events.
8. Tuition and Payment Policies
- Tuition is due on the first of each month. Late payments may incur a fee.
- Refunds are not available for missed classes or withdrawals from the program.
- Additional fees may apply for costumes, competitions, or special events.
9. Parental Involvement
- Parents are encouraged to be supportive and involved in their child's dance education.
- Please refrain from entering the studio during classes unless invited by the instructor.
- Attend parent meetings and stay informed about your child's progress and studio events.
10. Health and Wellness
- Dancers should maintain a healthy lifestyle, including proper nutrition, hydration, and rest.
- If your child is feeling unwell, please keep them at home to prevent the spread of illness.
